First lesson in Standard Grade history

S3 have started their standard grade history course with great enthusiasm! As we start to look at Britain since 1830, the class divided into groups to work on some key questions.

Here, they are using the thinking space boards to examine the question 'what does transport do for me?'

We are going on to look at how the arrival of steam power transformed British society, and will ask what was the most important change.
