The locomotive comes to Britian!

S3 are investigating the impact of the railways. They are preparing speeches to give to the Provisional Committee set up to safeguard the interests of the cities of Liverpool and Manchester. Each pupil is taking a different character and imagining their response to the proposal to build the world's first intercity rail line in 1830.

Today they are working on making their character's historicaly accurate and believable!
